Drop In

My dad was a hero. I suppose every kid thinks this at one time or another in our lives and in our eyes, right at that point, all dads are. They picked us up when we fell, they played with us in the park. They did things we have never dreamed of doing because they thought it would help to keep us safe. In more parts of the world now, than at most times in recent history, dads are still doing this.

My dad flew planes in WW2, British Mustangs and was one of the last Australian's to know about the end of the war. As luck would have it he was shot down a few short days before war ended and spent the next three months wandering over the Austrian Alps.

This is his story, a tribute to my dad at the same time it's to all dads everywhere. Heros!
