Well it's been really busy with work, all weekend actually and I just needed a distraction. That's what this site is for.

So while loading a little website I am working on up to the server. Something that in the real world takes maybe minutes to do. I had a couple of hours because that's what it takes here in Bali. Net result the picture above.

I have had this image of a Dakkochan that I love, although it isn't PC, but I am making art here people, not brands, I fused it with backgrounds and textures to come up with this. I am especially proud of the inclusion of Australian One Dollar Bill graphic in the back ground of the little one.

The art for the Australian Dollar bill featured art by David Malangi, The reproduction of this in 1966 was originally without his knowledge.

The Dakkochan (ダッコちゃん) was In the 80s, the original mascot for the Takara company. A Japanese games manufacturer who merged with Tomy in 2006. However they received criticism for its golliwog-like appearance. Takara later replaced it with a fantastical character called "21st Century Colorful Dakko-Chan", now try saying that fast.
