Drop In
Angkor Wat. Hard to pick it from this collage of photos but it is. We held an event at the back of Angkor Wat, the east side. A gala dinner for 400. As part of the set up we had hundreds of lights pointed at it. The corridor photo is actually untouched, the blues oranges and yellows are as they appear in my photo.
Not many people get into Angkor Wat at night. Fewer still have an eighty thousand dollar lighting rig. I took advantage of it. I will do more using these as backing images. They really are great.
The Apsara, Angel's, for want of a description, are a photo I took of the "Churning of the Sea of Mlk" Bass relief. The most famous of the Angkor reliefs and currently being restored.
The Shadow puppeteers are another photo I took at the west gate where we had cocktails for our guests. The screens raised to allow them to walk along a path of ice sculptures before seating themselves in front of the lit Angkor Wat. The entire night was amazing.
