When I was in Cambodia earlier this year I took some photos. Tonight I was looking through some of them and I pieced them together to make this.

A discarded thong on a street, broken, it's life all but over, the seeds that promise new life. A Cambodian dancer of old from the poster that hung in my room, a painted surface and although not my photo the light overlay of a police shooting target.

I acknowledge the atrocities that happened in this country but I celebrate the hope that the country has. It is a wonderful place, humbling, scary in some respects but truly beautiful.
